Learning outcomes
To know: the main theory conceptions as to the legal responsibility and as to the particular features of legal responsibility; the contents of the rules of international law that regulate the responsibility of states; the basis of the international responsibility of international intergovernmental organisations.
To be able to: use the acquired knowledge in the legal analysis of the events of the modern international relations; to characterize the efficacy of application of the law of international responsibility.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
- to master successfully the courses "Public International law (the basics of theory)"; "Public International law" (the main branches and institutes)";
- to know the basis of the theory of law and state, the basis of the history of law and state of Ukraine and foreign countries;
- to possess the elementary skills of analysis of the contents of the international law obligations.

Thematic plan of the discipline:
Module 1. The internationally wrongful act of a state.
1. The responsibility under international law as a kind of legal responsibility.
2. The internationally wrongful act of a state.
Module 2. The content and the implementation of the international responsibility of a state. The responsibility of international organizations.
3. The content of the international responsibility of a state.
4. The implementation of the international responsibility of a state.
5.The particular features of the international responsibility of international organizations under international law.

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 50 points); out-of-class work (up to 20 points); final module quizzes (up to 30 points). The form of final control is in the form of credit (up to 40 points).
