Learning outcomes
To know: what internationa law is and its necessity, the features characteristic of international law, its history, the dualistic and monistic theories of relations between international and national law, the system of international law, the concept of private international law, of the EU Law, of comparative law, where to find the provisions of international law, the concept of the sources of international law, who creates international law and who has undertakings according to it, the concept of subjects/persons under international law, the legal nature of international law, the nature of application and enforcement of international law, the theories of origin of the binding character of international law and the main provisions of each of them, the ethical questions of studying and practice of international law.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- knowledge of the basics of regulation relations generally and of legal relations in particular. - ability to analyze and establish the content of rights and obligations. - the initial skills of legal analysis and synthesis, of critical thinking, of working out a considerable amount of law material while providing the conclusions and proposals of one’s own. - proficiency in English

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 28 points); out-of-class work (up to 14 points for module 1, up to 10 points - for module 2); final module quizzes (up to 32 points for module 1, up to 36 points for module 2). The form of final control is in the form of exam (up to 40 points).
