Learning outcomes
PLO1. Demonstrate the fundamental knowledge acquired in the learning process on the nature, sources and directions of evolution of international relations, international politics, foreign policy, the state of theoretical studies of international relations and world politics. PLO 2. Demonstrate an understanding of the essence of globalization processes and analyze their impact on international relations. PLO 10. Analyze and evaluate international events, processes in the field of international cooperation and international security, the state of interaction and conflict in international systems. PLO 11. Identify international and foreign policy problems and situations, propose approaches to solving such problems. PLO 18. Organize and conduct professional discussions in the field of international relations and foreign policy. PLO 19. Participate in professional discussions on international relations, foreign policy and international communications

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know: the necessary theoretical, methodological and methodological provisions of international political science, methods of researching its object. 2. To be able to structure the problem and identify the fundamental factors in the analysis of conflict situations in various spheres of international life.
Course content
Module 1. Features, stages and process of formation of the Middle East regional system in the context of the problem of regional security. Module 2. Conflict potential of the region. Regional conflicts.

Lections, seminars, presentations.
Assessment methods and criteria
Classes are held in the form of lectures, seminars, presentations. The discipline ends with a test. Upon receipt of the resulting final number of points from 60 and above the student is credited. Assessment of all types of work is carried out during the semester, including independent work and individual and collective tasks. The final grade is set taking into account the points obtained for the final test. Students who scored a total of less than the critical-minimum minimum - 40 points before the test is not allowed
