Learning outcomes
To understand the main stages of the historical development of European labor and social law, legal sources and principles of labor and social law, legal nature, scope, parties and peculiarities of the conclusion of an employment contract in different countries, characteristic features of termination of labor relations in different states, legal regulation of working time and rest periods in different states and international legal acts, peculiarities of legal regulation of wages, occupational safety and health, European and national standards for ensuring occupational safety and health, the legal status of workers’ organizations and employers’ organizations, the importance of social dialogue and social partnership, the right of workers to participate in the decision-making process at the company, labor disputes and ways to solve them in different European countries,
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the basics of law; ability to analyze and compare law norms of different countries, universal international and European law provisions; ability to apply the comparative law method.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Assessment of students' knowledge is carried out by current control, and the final result of the student's work during the semester is evaluated on a 100-point scale. Current control: answers and presentations (up to 40 points), written analytical individual and group tasks, case studies (up to 40 points), final modular test (up to 20 points). The credit is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester.
