Learning outcomes
To know: the purpose of philosophy, its anthropo-orienting and culture-forming opportunities; the role of the subject in the active world mastering; worldview bases of coexistence and cooperation with others; To be able to: logically and argumentatively express theses on fundamental philosophical problems; determine, formulate and solve problems using philosophical terms and categories; interpret, review and comment on the texts; critically evaluate intellectual achievements (own and others); Communication: the ability to make quick non-standard optimal decisions for all participants in the situation with the possibility to explain the reasoning; be tolerant toward others during a verbal interaction; Autonomy and responsibility: apply the acquired knowledge to everyday and professional dimensions of practical situations; demonstrate the ability to work in a team and independently with initiative and avoid uncritical adherence to authorities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- To know the features of historical and cultural stages of Europe; to have basic factual knowledge of humanities and social sciences. - To be able to find, systematize and interpret information about phenomena (society, human being, nature); to apply basic concepts to the phenomena and processes study; to identify the features of the human communities and societies coexistence in the context of globalization; to plan own work and evaluate its results and consequences; to use interactive and multimedia tools. – To be skilled in working with texts; creation of structured oral and written presentations; interactions with colleagues during the studies.
