formation of students' integrated approach to the study of countries and regions of the post-Soviet space, Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and Latin America; understanding the patterns of formation of the modern political map of the planet, features of historical, political, socio-economic, cultural development of countries and regions, as well as identifying key points of contact of Ukraine with European, Afrasian and American spaces

1) know the basic geographical, demographic and economic characteristics of regions such as Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, Latin America; 2) be able to use the sources of mass information of these countries

MODULE 1. COUNTRIES OF THE POST-SUDDEN SPACE, EUROPE AND NORTH AMERICA Introduction to the course. Historical and political preconditions for the formation of the post-Soviet space European countries of the former USSR. Countries of the South Caucasus Central Asian countries Anglo-Saxon countries of Europe and North America German-speaking federations of Europe Novel-speaking countries of Western Europe Northern European countries Central and Eastern European countries and the Balkans MODULE 2. ASIA, AFRICA AND LATIN AMERICA COUNTRIES PRC Japan and South Korea Countries of South Asia Middle Eastern countries The countries of the Arab East and Israel La Plata countries. Lectures, seminars

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 30 points), additions (up to 5 points), written assignment (up to 5 points), final modular test (up to 10 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 40 points.
