1. To understand the speech of the teacher and the speaker by ear within the passed grammatical and lexical material. 2. To master the technique of reading aloud with correct rhythmic and intonation design sentences in the flow. 3. To read and understand the unfamiliar adapted text. 4. To understand English and conduct a talk within the subject, show communication skills, perform group tasks under the guidance of a teacher. 5. To translate the text from English into Ukrainian and from Ukrainian into English.

Practical classes, independent study

1. 2 modules up to 15 points (written works) = 30 points (30%). 2. Current control (home reading, vocabulary, grammar, texts, written assignments) = 30 points (30%). 3. Comprehensive final module (dictation or translation, conversational topics, lexical and grammar test / test / exam) = 40 points (40%).
