Learning outcomes
Know the essence of the concepts of “international business”, “management”, “marketing”, “finance”, “export-import operation”; the peculiarities of the types of international business, criteria for business division: by the form of manifestation, spheres of activity, the scope of activity. Be able to understand strategic planning in the activities of TNCs and strategic profiles of their activities - ethnocentrism, polycentrism, regiocentrism, geocentrism; to do a comprehensive analysis of the selected research object and gain a general understanding of the essence of such a complex category as international business. Master the skills of the study of economic theories and their practical analysis of compliance with the main trends of the modern development of international business. Willingness to communicate verbally and in writing in English and other foreign languages to meet the challenges of professional activity.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the basics of economic theories, financial theories. International economic, International Relations and World Politics. 2. Ability to analyze the main approaches to the system of international economic relations and the world economy. 3. Have the basic skills to identify obstacles and problems that may arise due to differences in business management in different countries. 4. Proficiency in English.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Surveys at seminars, tasks for individual work, consideration of hypothetical interstate disputes (moot court format), analysis of the dispute in the case-study format – up to 32 points. 2. Сase-study/speech contest – up to 10 points. 3. Modular control works – up to 18 points. 4. Exam – up to 40 points.
