Learning outcomes
To know concepts, sources, principles and trends of contemporary international relations and world politics; To know the major theoretical perspectives of international relations and world politics.The evolving global agenda: security, transnational terrorism and crime, sustainable development, migration, poverty, food, security etc.; To know the main theoretical approaches to international security. The key security issues for XXI century security; To be able to discuss the main aspects of the United States role in global politics; To master the skills of conducting discussions with a wide scientific community and the public on selected topical theoretical and practical issues of international relations and world politics; To work in group and solve collective tasks relating to international relations issues under the supervision of the lecturer.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the basics of International Relations (Fundamental Theory).
2. Ability to systematize the main approaches to contemporary international relations and world politics. 3. Have the basic skills of political analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of documents, texts and materials including online ones.
4. Proficiency in English.
