Learning outcomes
Knowledge of macroeconomics nature, its place in economic science; basic models of macroeconomic equilibrium, particularly AS – AD and Keynesian models, main conditions and preconditions of its establishment, breakdown and renewal; basic causes of unemployment and inflation, business cycles origin and development, their nature and consequences for an economy; the role and functions of government in an economy, types, and goals of monetary policy. Skills of calculating, interpreting, and analyzing basic macroeconomic ratios; developing and introducing main elements of macroeconomic policy; solving typical macroeconomic problems that simulate solving of the most widely spread practical tasks, processes, and phenomena in the economic system of a country.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Knowledge of general material implied by secondary education level programs, including those necessary for entering high school. 2) Awareness of basic notions and concerns in economic and business activity, commercial operations. 3) Skills of working with the Internet, information, and data search. 4) Proficiency in the English language.
