Learning outcomes
Know the features of content for typologically different modern media, content quality criteria, and understand the relationship between content, facts, and interpretation. Use a variety of content genres. Be able to search and design tailored media content; collect specialised information to write materials; use various relevant sources of information; verify sources of information.

2) Be aware of the creative nature of the work of publishers, editors, rewriters, and copywriters.

Course content
The course is taught to students in the 3rd year of study, the educational programme "Publishing and Media Editing". It is a practical course that focuses on the development of skills in editing structurally diverse content of different formats, technological features, genres, etc., addressed to different audiences. The course includes 12 content modules.

Assessment methods and criteria
The course is divided into 12 content modules (5 content modules in the 1st half and 7 content modules in the 2nd half of the study year). Each content module includes practical classes and independent work of students. Both semesters end with an assessment (exam). Knowledge monitoring is carried out according to the ECTS system, which includes a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1, 1.2), which accounts for 30% of the total score and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication 3.1, 3.2); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1. 4.2), which accounts for 70% of the total score.
