Course content
Discipline of features of anatomical and histological structure and functioning of the endocrine system and patterns of metabolic processes in it and regulation of its functions in accordance with species specificity, as well as pathological changes in humans and animals. During the study of the course the mechanisms of functioning and regulation of the functions of the endocrine system in accordance with the species specificity and pathology are considered. The importance of the endocrine system in maintaining the dynamic stability of the internal environment in humans and animals in normal and pathological conditions. Knowledge gained from the discipline "Endocrinology" can be used in research of all physiological sciences (CNS physiology, circulatory physiology, digestive physiology, physiology of work and sports, etc.) and in interdisciplinary sciences (physiological pharmacology; environmental physiology, zoopsychology etc.).
