PRN10. Use tools for the development of client-server applications, design conceptual, logical and physical models of databases, develop and optimize queries to them, create distributed databases, data stores and showcases, knowledge bases, including on cloud services, using web programming languages.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: basic concepts from the disciplines "Databases and information systems", "Discrete mathematics", "Programming". 2. Be able to: work with basic software products designed to process tabular data, such as a spreadsheet. 3. To have methods of solving problems for processing data structures that appear in various branches of cybernetics.
Course content
The educational discipline "Modern database technologies" is a component of the educational and professional program "Informatics" for the training of specialists at the educational and qualification level "bachelor" in the field of knowledge 12 "Information technologies" specialty 122 "Computer science". It is an educational discipline that is offered to the student to choose from and is not included in the elective blocks. It is taught in the 5th semester of the 3rd year of the bachelor's degree in the amount of 3 ECTS credits. The course consists of 2 substantive parts. During its study, it is planned to perform 2 control works, 1 laboratory work, 1 homework and 2 electronic tests. The student's work during the semester is evaluated in the form of credit.

- semester assessment: 1. Control paper 1 (written work): RN 1.1, RN 1.2, RN 1.3, RN 2.2 — 15 points/9 points. 2. Control paper 2 (written work): PH 1.5, PH 2.3 — 25 points/15 points. 3. Laboratory work (project): RN2.1, RN 2.3, RN 2.4, RN 2.5, RN 3.1, RN 4.1, RN 4.2 — 35 points/21 points. 4. Homework (written work): PH2.1, PH2.2, PH4.1, PH4.2 — 10 points/6 points. 5. Testing 1 (electronic test): PH 1.1, PH 1.2, PH 1.3 — 10 points / 6 points. 6. Testing 2 (electronic test): PH 1.4 — 5 points / 3 points. - final evaluation (in the form of credit): - credits are defined as the sum of grades/points for all successfully assessed learning outcomes provided for in this program; - grades below the minimum threshold level are not added; - the minimum threshold level for the total assessment for all components is 60% of the maximum possible number of points.
