Prerequisites and co-requisites
To learn the discipline “Algebra and Geometry” the student should satisfy the following requirements. They know school courses in geometry, algebra and basics of calculus. They can use the basic apparatus of these disciplines.
Course content
The subject of the discipline "Algebra and Geometry" is the study of basic methods for solving problems in analytic geometry, methods for solving systems of linear equations, the basic properties of linear spaces. The discipline is a prerequisite for the study of such disciplines "Operations Research", "Algebraic structures, cryptography and data security" and others.

Semester assessment: Maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student: 60 points: 1. Test work № 1(3): PH 1.1, PH 2.1 (РН 1.5, РН 2.4) - 25/15 points. 2. Test work № 2(4): PH 1.2, PH 1.3, PH 1.4, PH 2.2, PH 2.3 (РН 1.6, РН 1.7, РН 2.5, РН 2.6) - 25/15 points 3. Work in the classroom 10/6 points Final assessment (in the form of an exam): - Maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student: 40 points. - Learning outcomes to be evaluated: PH 1.1, PH 1.2, PH 1.3, PH 1.4, PH 2.1, PH 2.2, PH 2.3 (РН 1.5, РН 1.6, РН 1.7, РН 2.4, РН 2.5, РН 2.6). - Form of conducting: written. - Types of tasks: 4 written tasks (2 theoretical questions and 2 practical tasks).
