Learning outcomes
The purpose of the discipline is to instilling in students of the 2nd year of the «master's» educational level the methods and skills of mastering modern scientific and technical literature (domestic and foreign) on the subject of their diploma work, familiarizing students with the principles of organizing the search and processing of scientific information, assisting them in formulating goal, planning and execution of research or project, analysis of obtained results and formulation of conclusions, preparation of master's thesis and report based on its materials.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To master the discipline "Methods of presentation of research results", students need to have basic knowledge of the subject area, which is provided in other disciplines of the "master's" educational level, knowledge of the English language in the amount necessary for reading technical and scientific literature in the specialty without a dictionary, regularly work in contact with scientific supervisor for the thesis.
Course content
In the academic discipline "Methods of presentation of research results", students are provided with practical skills in finding and analyzing scientific and technical information, planning, organizing and carrying out scientific research, preparing a thesis and reporting on its results. During the course, each student of the group makes 3 reports on the following topics: "Analytical review of the literature on the subject of the master's thesis", "Research and development methods", "On the master's thesis with a presentation of results".

Assessment methods and criteria
The academic semester includes 3 forms of reporting (see section "Content of the academic discipline"). A student can receive up to 33 points for each report, up to 100 points for a semester.
