Prerequisites and co-requisites
To successfully master the material of the discipline "Fundamentals of Automatic Control Theory", it is necessary to master the material of the mandatory disciplines "Higher Mathematics", "General Physics", "Fundamentals of Circuit Theory", "Digital Signal Processing" and "Computer Technologies".
Course content
Linear automatic control systems. Basic management principles. The principle of disturbance control. The principle of deviation management. Transmission functions of automatic control systems. Dynamic characteristics of static and astatic automatic control systems. Stability and quality of linear automatic control systems. Discrete automatic control systems. Mathematical apparatus for the study of impulse systems.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures - 46 hrs, practical lessons - 14 hrs, laboratory work - 14 hrs, consultations - 1 hr, independent work - 75 hrs, total - 150 hrs.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester evaluation: the first modular control paper (up to 12 points), the second and third modular control papers (up to 16 points each), laboratory tests (up to 16 points) - up to 60 points in total. Final evaluation in the form of an exam - up to 40 points.
