Learning outcomes
Students' understanding of the theoretical foundations of time-discrete and level-quantized signal processing. Students master basic concepts and mathematical models that are used for analysis and development of technical systems and algorithms of digital signal processing.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To successfully master the material of the course "Digital Signal Processing", students must master the material of the courses "Higher Mathematics", "Special Sections of Higher Mathematics", "General Physics" and "Basics of the Circuit Theory".
Course content
Discrete sequences and systems. Frequency representation of a discrete signal. Mathematical model of the analog signal discretization process. Discrete Hilbert transform. Analysis of linear stationary systems. Methods and stages of development of digital signal processing systems. Multidimensional discrete sequences and systems.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures - 46 hrs, laboratory work - 14 hrs, independent work - 60 hrs, total - 120 hrs.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: two modular control papers (up to 10 points each), individual homework (up to 20 points), two colloquiums (up to 10 points each), in total - 60 points. Final evaluation in the form of an exam - up to 40 points.
