Formation and consolidation of students' spatial-algorithmic thinking by acquiring competences, knowledge, abilities and skills in solving problems of sketch geometry, building and reading drawings, schemes, technical documentation, studying relevant standards, building drawings by means of automated design. Systems with their subsequent use in further work in any field of science and technology, in the expansion of students' worldview in the direction of subject-technical activity.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To study the discipline "Engineering graphics" it is necessary to successfully master the following educational components: "System programming", "Computer systems", "Hardware and software of computer systems".
Course content
"Engineering graphics" includes the main sections of the theory of construction of diagrams, complex drawings, rules of transformations when constructing cross-sections, projections on different planes, mutual intersections of curved surfaces and flat surfaces, technologies for the use of auxiliary planes and auxiliary surfaces in three-dimensional modeling tasks. The educational discipline involves studying the practical application of automated design systems
Recommended or required reading and other learning resources/tools
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, laboratory work, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: It is planned to perform 6 laboratory works. Laboratory work is credited if the student has scored at least 6 points for it. A maximum of 10 points is awarded for laboratory work. Based on the results of the semester evaluation, a student can receive a maximum of 60 points. Graduation conditions for credit: the student must have all laboratory work credited and score at least 36 points during the semester. Work in the classroom is part of the corresponding module, answers "at the blackboard", homework is a component of the corresponding topic. Final evaluation in the form of credit: the form of credit is written and oral. The final work consists of 2 questions: 1. theoretical question (estimated from 0 to 20 points); 2. theoretical question (estimated from 0 to 20 points) In total, you can get from 0 to 40 points for the credit. The conditional achievement of a positive grade for the discipline is to obtain at least 60 points.
