Before studying the subject "Applied Theory of Digital Automata" it is necessary to prepare and pass exams / tests in the following Subjects: • Discrete Math • Computer electronics • Computer circuitry
Course content
The discipline "Applied Theory of Digital Automata" covers the following issues: • Functioning and basics of synthesis of combinational circuits • Transients in logic circuits • Sequential logic • Triggers and devices based on them • Design and structural synthesis of firmware automata

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, laboratory work, term paper, individual independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
-Semester assessment. During the semester, students perform 10 laboratory works, for each work you can get from 0 to 6 points. -Final assessment. At the end of the semester examination is carried out; All 10 laboratory works with a total score of at least 36 points are required for admission to the exam; the examination ticket consists of 2 questions and 2 circuit problems, the answer to each question or task is evaluated from 0 to 10 points. The result of learning of the subject is considered positive if the total score for semantic modules and exam exceeds 60 points, the score for exam must be higher than 24 points.
