Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English and German / French / Spanish / Italian / Portuguese), in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication. PLO 2. Process information effectively: collect relevant information from a variety of sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of oral and written texts of different genres and styles creation in Ukrainian and other foreign languages (French and English). Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, the student must successfully master the following academic disciplines: Introduction to Linguistics, Practical French Language Course, Terminology, Comparative Lexicology of French and Ukrainian Languages, Comparative Grammar of French and Ukrainian Languages. Know the system and norms of the French language; basic concepts of language as a special symbolic system, its nature and functions; phonetic, lexical, grammatical levels of speech; the main aspects of the theory and history of the French language. Be able to communicate in French; to speak French at a level not lower than B1-B2.
Course content
The training involves the continuation of the comprehensive study of the French language and the formation of improved practical language skills in students. The discipline is designed to ensure students' free use of the French language in oral and written forms, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in various spheres of life. Students actively learn 1000 lexical items. The situational and communicative conditioning of word usage, expressive and modal nuances are elaborated in more detail.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Training Activities Throughout the Semester: 1. Oral response, blitz survey. 2. Written tasks (essays, works). 3. Preparation of the presentation. 4. Protection of the presentation. 5. Tests. 6. Translation. Teaching methods - interactive, analysis and synthesis, multimedia, structural, ludic, creative-heuristic.
Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum number of points during the semester is 100 points. In particular, semester evaluation by forms of control: - oral answers, blitz survey - max. 30 points; - written tasks (essays, works) - max. 30 points; - preparation and defense of the presentation - max. 20 points; - modular control: test + translation - max. 20 points; Intermediate control. There is no final evaluation. 30% of the points received during the semester are transferred to the next semester.
