Course content
Translation Workshop, as part of the professional training cycle for philologists and translators, provides students with an in-depth understanding of the specificities of a translator's work in the modern translation services market (within the German-Ukrainian context). The practical sessions aim to develop translation skills and improve strategies and techniques for both oral and written translation. During the sessions, students practice consecutive, simultaneous, whispered, full, and summary written translation, as well as annotation translation. They analyze existing translations by different translators and engage in group discussions on their own translations.
