Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of theoretical and practical translation disciplines as specified in the curriculum. 2. Proficiency in the Ukrainian language at the C2/native level and proficiency in the German language at the B2 level.
Course content
The course "Management of Translation Projects" includes lectures and practical sessions where students familiarize themselves with the implementation algorithm of translation projects, stakeholders in the translation market, the fundamentals of project management in the context of translation practice. They learn how to prepare and plan a project, assess its possibilities and risks, evaluate translation quality, and apply technical tools used in translation activities and management. The course aims to develop and enhance key organizational competencies of translators to address professional tasks necessary for the implementation of translation projects.

Continuous assessment in the course includes: Oral response (frontal/individual/group questioning with final presentation of a written assignment) Written assignments Individual project presentation Module test
Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which involves a two-level assessment of acquired material. This includes the evaluation of theoretical preparation - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1-1.3), which constitutes 40% of the overall grade, and the evaluation of practical skills - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.2), communication (3.), autonomy, and responsibility (4.), which constitutes 60% of the overall grade.
