Learning outcomes
Formation of skills to optimally choose hardware and software for activities in the field of museology, monument studies and conducting scientific work. Be able to formulate and set a task for a professional mathematician or programmer and find a common language with them in the process of solving a non-standard problem. Develop the skills to correctly design and publish the results of scientific work in electronic form, learn to work with software packages that are used in a certain field of activity. Confidently use the main information services of the Internet, specialized Internet resources for museum experts and preservationists.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of modern information technologies. 2. Be able to use standard Windows OS software at the level of an ordinary user. 3. To have elementary skills of search, classification, criticism of sources, to navigate in the virtual information space.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, practical classes and independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 (ЗМ1) includes topics 1-3, content module 2 (ЗМ2) includes topics 4-6.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points obtained from all topics of two content modules (points obtained during practical classes (oral surveys, performance of practical tasks); points obtained during module control (written control work); points obtained for independent work (for the preparation of an essay, presentation), as well as the points received during the final control (credit), namely: for completing the proposed tasks. Assessment of students' knowledge success is carried out in two forms: semester assessment (tests, oral examination, performance of practical tasks, essay, presentation) and final assessment (credit). The total amount of points is 100 points (of which, the semester assessment is a maximum of 80 points; the final assessment (credit) is a maximum of 20 points).
