Learning outcomes
To improve the skills of oral and written communication in the Ukrainian literary language, to learn typical examples of the use of language means in the field of the future profession, to acquaint students with the main business and scientific genres necessary for further study and professional activity, as well as to form practical skills of linguistic analysis of professional texts.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
2.1. Master the discipline "Ukrainian language" in accordance with school course programs. 2.2. Know the basic norms of the Ukrainian literary language. 2.3. Possess basic communication skills of the Ukrainian literary language.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Throughout the semester, after lectures on relevant topics, practical classes are held, at which evaluation is carried out in accordance with the types of work and the form of control described in clause 7.1. At the end of the course, students hand in a dictionary of industry terms (no later than the last lecture week). The discipline ends with a final test, which the student may not write, having scored a minimum of 60 points. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 45 points, select points in accordance with the proposed tasks in clause 7.1. For students who missed classes during the semester for valid reasons, it is necessary to complete the missed topics in writing and submit/send them by e-mail to the teacher in order to receive a credit. The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student in the process of performing the specified types and forms of education.
