Learning outcomes
To develop the understanding of the peculiarities of energy consumer rights: to encourage the understanding the peculiarities of the realization and protection of the energy consumer rights at international and national levels

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The Ph.D candidate shall know: the main concepts of Human Rights theory, in particular, the notion of human rights, generations of human rights, international protection of human rights, violations against human rights. Ph.D candidate shall have necessary knowledge of the theory of law and the main branches of law, understand the topical issues on human rights protection.
Course content
Energy policy, energy security and energy law in terms of human rights concept; a right to access to modern energy services as a human right: international and national dimensions: energy regulation and energy consumer rights protection
