Students’ achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as to know: historical and legal prerequisites for the development of legal enforcement of environmental security of business; scientific and legal literature and legislation in the field of legal enforcement of environmental security of business, in particular in the agricultural sector of the economy, industry, transport; grounds for bringing to liability for damage caused as a result of the violation of environmental security requirements in the field of business. To understand the organizational and legal framework of environmental security of business; to be able to apply interdisciplinary approaches to solving problems related to environmental security in agriculture, road, rail, aviation, pipeline transport and industry in general; to be able to build practical legal models for regulating relations in the defined area.

Distance form

To know the main aspects of formation and development of relations in the field of legal enforcement of environmental security of business, the place of these relations regulation in environmental law of Ukraine, the concept of environmental security and features of legal relations in the field of environmental security in the agricultural sector, industry and transport; to be able to analyze acts of environmental legislation and other areas of law governing relations in this field; to have the skills to prepare drafts of relevant documents considering the peculiarities of the practical situation and to resolve disputes arising in the field of legal enforcement of environmental security of business with the help of legal methods.

The discipline is aimed at deepening theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities to individually solve problems arising in the field of legal enforcement of environmental security of business, namely the legal framework for legal enforcement of environmental security of business in the agricultural sector, industry and transport. Students study scientific approaches to the essence of legal enforcement of environmental security of business, legal regulation of relations in this area, especially the liability of enterprises for damage caused by violations of environmental security requirements, etc. Much attention is paid to the formation of students' practical skills in regulating relations, which are aimed at legal enforcement of environmental security of business and the analysis of case law in this area.

Lectures are conducted using dialectical, historical, comparative legal research methods, scientific, legal and other sources, materials of case law. The prospects of legal enforcement of environmental security of business, particularly in the agricultural sector of the economy, industry and transport are outlined. At the seminars, while solving problems, the communication of students on the legality of the actions of the subjects of environmental relations is provided, the optimal level of argumentation of the legal positions of their participants is achieved. Students prepare drafts of legally significant documents, determine the grounds for the liability for offenses in the field of legal enforcement of environmental security of business. The self-study includes individual works on given topics, research of judicial practice, analytical materials, etc.

Semester forms of the assessment include: a report (a speech on a given topic) – from 3 to 5 points; a supplement to the report – from 1 to 2 points; express questioning – from 2 to 3 points; a colloquium – from 3 to 5 points; problem solving – from 3 to 5 points; an individual work – from 3 to 4 points; testing (from the set of judgments to choose the right ones) – from 3 to 5 points; participation in the discussion – from 2 to 3 points; a final test – from 4 to 8 points. The final assessment – a written credit. The maximum score that a student can get at the end of the semester is 40 points. According to the results of the final form of control (a credit), the student may get a maximum of 60 points. The final score for the discipline may not be less than 60 points.
