Achievement of such competencies as the ability to determine the range of threats to business, both external and internal, on the basis of current economic legislation of Ukraine, predict and manage them, determine the range of business entities, their organizational and legal forms, features of legal regulation of their creation and termination; working with economic legislation, in particular on issues of legal security support of business; ability to solve complex problems in the field of lawmaking and law enforcement; mastering theoretical knowledge on the basic principles of business security according to the legislation of Ukraine.

External form

Know the provisions of the main legislation that regulates the specifics of doing business by business entities. Be able to consolidate and deepen the knowledge gained during the lectures by means of analysing sources of special literature on relevant topics of the course; apply the knowledge acquired from other disciplines, in particular, civil and economic law; interpret and apply the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, economic, civil, financial legislation, as well as the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, legal positions of the Supreme Court; use legal information and analytical resources of the Internet; perform self-study tasks, solve problems. Possess basic skills of independent study and application of legislation and literature on the topics of the course; independent solution of problems that arise in the activities of business entities.

Forms of teaching and teaching methods are aimed at conducting legal analysis of the processes of legal entities’ interaction with the external environment in order to solve market, financial, informational, organizational problems of legal security of business. The discipline deals with the peculiarities of legal support of business security. The course stipulates in-depth study of current legislation of Ukraine in the field of legal security of business, develops the ability to independently manage business risks and suggest ways of preventing and influencing them.

Types of classes include lectures, which among other things use visual methods, including demonstrations and illustrations (schemes provide an image of the concept or a problem that is covered) and seminars. The method of communicative learning, where the emphasis is to enable students to develop the ability to justify their position on various legal issues on the topics of the course; oral discussions, problem solving, filing complaints, lawsuits.

Types of formative assessment are chosen by the teacher who conducts practical lessons in compliance with the course syllabus. The teacher who conducts seminars processes students’ points scored during coursework and enters them into the student performance evaluation documents. If a student is absent from a seminar for a valid reason, s/he may complete the missed lesson in extracurricular time within 7 days after this lesson was missed, during the teacher's consultation. The procedure is carried out by means of oral questioning or another type of task set by the teacher. Points for missed classes are not awarded. At the end of the semester, missed classes are not completed.
