Learning outcomes
The student is to know: the doctrine of formation and consolidation of the principle of gender equality in the public service system; domestic legislation; regulations of leading countries and the norms of European Union directives establishing gender parity in the public service system. The student is to be able to analyze the regulations of both domestic and international nature, as well as to determine the nature and sources of regulation of certain subjective law. The student is to have the skills of drafting, including claims, complaints about violations of gender parity in the public service. The student is also to master the techniques of legislative techniques to be able to provide proposals for improving domestic legislation. The student is to be fluent in the state language, use legal terminology correctly and demonstrate the understanding of the main topics of the course.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
There are the following requirements: 1) the successful mastering of knowledge about the subject, tasks, methodology of the course "Gender Equality in the Public Service Domain," and its place in the system of disciplines; 2) mastering of the main scientific problems of the evolution of gender equality in public service domain; 3) the formation of skills of analytical thinking about the essence and content of law as a complex phenomenon that has influenced the genesis of legal culture and legal awareness at different stages of statehood.
Course content
Gender equality in of public service domain belongs to the system of theoretical disciplines, which aim at deepening the students' knowledge of: the doctrine of the idea of gender equality in the public service; the process of legislative consolidation of this principle and practical problems arising at the stage of its observance in the domestic system governing bodies and in the public service of developed countries.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, seminar, self-study work, express questioning, writing tests, module control work, research, final control work.
Assessment methods and criteria
During mid-term assessment while seminars the evaluation of the following is conducted: level of knowledge, demonstrated by the student by answering the question, activity while discussion of the seminar questions, systemic work during classes, the results of home assignments fulfilled. The teacher who is conducting seminars gives a certain amount of points earned through mid-term assessment and fixes it in academic progress register. The discipline is taught during one term. 5 days prior the beginning of the exam session the teacher the students are not allowed to make the missed classes up. For the students scoring less than minimum of positive mark (60% and higher of the maximum number of points for the for the discipline) are entitled to the final test, that can’t be assessed with the mark higher than 40% of the final score (40 and less points according to 100-points scale).
