Learning outcomes
The student is to know: the institutional and legal principles of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the subjects of legal relations in the health care domain and to know forms and methods of their protection. The student is to be able to critically analyze and comprehend the provisions of the current legislation of Ukraine in health care domain from the standpoint of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the subjects of legal relations in health care domain. The student is to be able to develop proposals for solving legal problems that arise during the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the subjects of legal relations in health care domain.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student is required: to have view on idea of human rights, their evolution, system and mechanisms of protection; to have an idea of the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the subjects of legal relations in the field of health care and its mechanisms.
Course content
Forms and methods of teaching the discipline aimed at ensuring students' understanding of the mechanism of protection of the rights of the subjects of legal relations in health care domain and the acquisition of practical skills necessary for such protection. The course of the discipline involves acquainting students with the institutional and legal principles of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the subjects of legal relations in health care domain, with its forms, methods and features of their application.

Lecture, seminar, self-study work, report and solving the case, essay.
Assessment methods and criteria
While mid-term assessment on seminars the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student while answering, the involvement in discussions of the seminar agenda, the consistency of performance in the classes, the results of home assignments fulfilled by the student are due evaluation. The teacher conducting the classes gives the number of points earned during mid-term assessment in the term agreed and fixes the marks in the group register. The minimum number of points to be earned is 1. The maximum number of points for the term is 40.
