Learning outcomes
Have specialized conceptual knowledge acquired in the process of studying the concept, features and forms of e-commerce, the legal status of e-commerce entities and consumers of e-commerce services. Analyze issues related to the practice of organizing and conducting e-auctions and e-procurement, software development and implementation of IT outsourcing projects. Know the procedures, conditions, directions, risks and regulatory requirements for the use of electronic money and electronic payment systems. Be able to resolve complex problems and legal issues of improving domestic legislation in the field of e-commerce and IT business in accordance with European standards, which requires updating and integrating knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements. Be able to choose and apply the methods provided by the legislation of Ukraine to protect the rights of e-commerce entities, etc.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline: 1. Know the basic requirements established by the legislation of Ukraine for activities in the field of e-commerce and IT business, procedures for the use of international electronic payment systems, legal framework for electronic bidding, auctions, regulatory requirements for software, national and international sources. 2. Be able to assess and determine the legal significance and objectives of the institutes of legal regulation in the field of e-commerce and legal regulation in the field of IT business, to characterize the main activities in relevant areas of legal regulation, determine the specifics of concluding and executing electronic commercial transactions, application of information infrastructure as IT-outsourcing, to characterize the main ways of circulating information in the field of e-commerce, as well as ways to protect the information rights of consumers of services purchased through the Internet.
Course content
The following issues are covered in the study of the course: 1) e-commerce and IT business as the basis of the national digital economy; 2) general characteristics of the mechanism of legal regulation of activities in the fields of e-commerce and IT business under the legislation of Ukraine; 3) legal status of e-commerce entities; 4) forms, directions and tools of e-commerce; 5) legal regulation of the use of electronic payment systems and the results of electronic trust services; 6) legal status of the IT business entities, types and forms of their activity. New knowledge are to be acquired on the tools of public administration used in relevant areas of public activity, research of theoretical and applied problems of information law enforcement, prevention of offenses in the markets of e-commerce and IT services.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The study of the discipline includes lectures, seminars; polls (express survey)/testing/essay (reference paper) on the proposed topic; module tests; self-study, individual assignments; credit (exam).
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of ongoing performance evaluation can be: solving practical cases, short surveys, reports, preparation of draft individual or legal acts, module tests, intermediate evaluation. With the current type of evaluation during the seminars, the following should be assessed: the level of knowledge demonstrated by a student in their answers, readiness to discuss the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, the results of homework completion. The teacher who runs the seminars sets the number of points scored from the current evaluation and enters them in the relevant documents of student performance. If a student is absent for good reasons, he can once complete the missed lesson through an oral interview in extracurricular time (teacher consultation time), solving a practical case, preparing a draft regulation or individual act. According to the results demonstrated the teacher can award up to 5 points.
