Learning outcomes
Achievement by students of such competencies, skills and abilities as: the ability to think abstractly, analyze and synthesize information and knowledge on the doctrine and practice of civil law; the ability to conduct research on the problems of the general part of civil law at the appropriate level; the ability to apply an interdisciplinary approach to assessing current problems of the general part of civil law; the ability to independently prepare drafts of reasoned and motivated acts of law enforcement in the field of the general part of civil law.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Know the normative course "Civil Law", literary sources on the issues of the general part of civil law, acts of civil legislation of Ukraine regulating the fundamental provisions of civil law, current judicial practice of applying the general provisions of civil law and modern civil law doctrine.
2) Be able to freely operate with the basic elements of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the general part of civil law.
3) Possess the skills of working with specialized literature, applying scientific methods of cognition and legal methods of resolving controversial practical situations in the field of general civil law, navigate the practice of Ukrainian courts and the European Court of Human Rights on the issues under study.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting a deep doctrinal analysis of current issues of the general part of civil law, used in research. The discipline studies the methodological principles of civil law, sources of civil law, the concept, content and classification of civil law, the institution of legal entity, the concept and system of legal facts in civil law, transactions and its invalidity, institutions of protection and liability in civil law.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
The forms of student assessment include: express survey; colloquium; report; testing (select the correct ones from a set of judgments); module test; case study.
The minimum score to be obtained by a student on the relevant forms of assessment during the semester is 24 points, the maximum score is 40 points.
During the current control during seminars, the following are subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student in the answer, activity in discussing seminar issues, systematic work in class, and the results of homework.
A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may be excluded from the final assessment.
