Learning outcomes
Achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as analysis of the provisions of the Economic Code of Ukraine and other legislative acts regulating the activities of subjects of commercial relations of various organizational and legal forms, distinguishing subjects of commercial and non-commercial relations, determining the procedure for the creation and termination of subjects of commercial relations, ability to summarize the conditions of economic activity performance by the subjects of commercial relations, analysis of the case law on dispute resolution with the participation of subjects of commercial relations; ability to study sources of special literature on relevant topics of the course; application of the acquired interdisciplinary links, in particular, in commercial, civil, tax law; drawing up problems on the basis of real court cases; mastering skills of drafting law enforcement acts used in practical activity of subjects of commercial relations

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Master theoretical and practical knowledge of current issues of legal support of commercial legal entities, be able to analyse case law with the participation of such parties, as well as local regulations of subjects of commercial relations, summarize the practice of state bodies on the creation and termination of various subjects of commercial relations; systematize the conditions of economic activity performance by these entities; draft a well-structured and grounded court decision on a specific dispute with the participation of these entities.
Course content
The discipline deals with the specific features of the legal support of subjects of commercial relations, with the specifics of commercial relations and their difference from non-commercial relations. The legal status of the subjects of commercial relations is analysed; regulatory requirements for their creation, operation and termination are investigated; the legal bases of the state regulation of subjects of commercial relations are defined. The course develops the ability to draft documents that constitute the legal internal support of subjects of commercial relations’ activity. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of case law in various categories of disputes involving business entities and provisions of certain legal forms of local regulations.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Meetings with practitioners on topical issues of the course, guest lectures on the topic, binary classes on the topic of the discipline. Teaching methods include conversation, explanation, scientific discussion on the issues of the course; problem-based teaching of certain issues of the course, the use of visual aid in the form of presentations, statistical methods in teaching material on types of economic activity, types of organizational and legal forms of subjects of commercial relations; methods: coordination of students' actions in solving cases based on real court cases, management of simulation procedures for advising students and drafting procedural and legal documents, in particular, on possible ways to protect the rights and interests of the subjects of commercial relations.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of formative assessment are chosen by the teacher who conducts practical lessons in compliance with the course syllabus. The teacher who conducts seminars processes students’ points scored during coursework and enters them in the student performance evaluation documents. If a student is absent from a seminar for a valid reason, s/he may complete the missed lesson in extracurricular time within the module when the lesson was missed, during the teacher's consultation. The procedure is carried out by means of oral questioning or another type of task set by the teacher. Points for missed classes are not awarded.
