Learning outcomes
Ability to apply general and special knowledge of the theory of civil procedure in relation to the basic principles; ability to identify and resolve problems of civil procedural regulation of protection in court of rights, freedoms or interests of individuals, rights and interests of legal entities, interests of the state; to know and be able to substantiate the continuity and evolution of the doctrine of civil procedural legal relations; ability to scientifically analyze theories, concepts on the forms and essence of review and appeal of court decisions; be able to work with primary sources, perceive information from them, analyze sources of law; be able to give a legal assessment of specific views of scholars-proceduralists and determine their contribution to the formation and development of the science of civil procedural law.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the theoretical foundations of civil procedural law, conceptual approaches to understanding the basic principles (principles) of civil procedure, their system and features of implementation in modern civil proceedings; system and structure of civil procedural legal relations; features of the procedural status of the subjects of civil proceedings; theoretical and practical aspects of certain types of proceedings and stages of civil proceedings; requirements for the types, content, procedures for making court decisions; features of review of court decisions. Be able to assess and determine the role and objectives of civil proceedings; use the theoretical provisions of the science of civil procedural law, analyze the rules of civil procedural law; analyze procedural documents approved by the court. Have the skills to apply the rules of civil procedural law, which guarantee the procedural rights of the subjects of civil procedural relations.
Course content
Theoretical foundations of civil procedural law of Ukraine, the main aspects of the formation and development of civil proceedings in Ukraine, features of classification and content of basic principles (principles), their legal nature. Regulatory and scientific sources on the problems of legal regulation and implementation of civil procedural legal relations, acts of civil procedural legislation governing the procedural status of participants in civil procedural legal relations. Analysis of legal characteristics, determination of the essence of the tasks of civil proceedings and the purpose of civil proceedings in Ukraine, the ability to give legal characteristics to individual procedural institutions. Features of international and national procedural and substantive legislation to guarantee the protection of rights.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, seminar, self-study work, individual task
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods: express survey, colloquium, scientific report, scientific work, preparation of abstracts at scientific conferences. In the first lesson, each student receives an individual task and prepares for 20 days to report on the topic identified in the task. The teacher sets a schedule according to which the time is determined when each student will be able to make a report / presentation on the topic of their individual task. Based on the results of the report in electronic form, the student prepares a report on the individual task (up to 2000 words) indicating the main sources used and a week before the final lesson in this discipline (see the last lesson on the schedule in this discipline), sends to work teacher's mailbox. Points for the report on the individual task and the final amount of points for the semester are announced to students at the final lesson.
