Learning outcomes
Know the concept, structure and features of European constitutional law, the provisions of the constitutions of foreign countries and constitutional law; EU constitutional law system, sources of European constitutional law; general principles of law, models of local self-government in EU member states. Be able to use the acquired knowledge in practice; to correlate European constitutional law with the national law of the member states and international law. Be able to develop draft regulations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Study of disciplines "Theory of State and Law", "History of State and Law", "Constitutional Law", "International Public Law". Possession of skills of logical and analytical thinking.
Course content
The study of the discipline reveals issues of legal nature, characteristics and specifics of the constitutional law of the EU and foreign countries; the essence and main aspects of the constitutional regulation of public relations in foreign countries, in particular, EU member states; constitutional problems and prospects of development of branches of the constitutional law of the EU, legislative and doctrinal aspects of adaptation of the constitutional legislation of Ukraine to the EU legislation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Webinars, lectures on youtube channels, online testing, expert evaluation, film, case study, simulation of various situations, discussions, work in small groups, etc.
Assessment methods and criteria
Ongoing and final performance evaluation is applied. Assessment methods - the type of work / activity of the applicant, which will assess the level of achievement of learning outcomes (testing, creative tasks, individual work, independent work, etc. and the minimum threshold after which a positive assessment is credited) - and evaluation criteria are communicated to applicants before beginning of the study of the discipline by a teacher who conducts seminars. At the ongoing and final performance evaluation are subject to assessment: the level of "Knowledge", "Understanding", "Application", "Analysis" / "Synthesis" / "Evaluation", demonstrated by the applicant. The maximum total number of points the applicant can score in the ongoing performance evaluation - 40, in the exam - 60. The final score for the discipline is set on a 100-point scale (ECTS) and a national scale.
