- Know the concepts, categories and institutions of labor law, the concept of a manager and the peculiarities of their legal status, measures to protect employees by participating in personnel management;
- Be able to effectively apply the norms of labor law;
- Evaluate, draw up and express own conclusions, results;
- Form and apply them in practice; master the application of active legislation and understand the level of legal regulation in the field of labor relations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: the basic concepts, categories and institutions of labor law, in particular, the concept of a manager and the peculiarities of their legal status, measures to protect employees by participating in personnel management; knowledge of normative legal acts of labor legislation of Ukraine and apply them in practice; master the application of current legislation and understand the level of legal regulation in the field of labor relations.
Be able to: effectively apply the rules of labor law; provide assistance and legal advice on the application of labor law; use the experience of legal regulation of security relations in countries with market economies to improve labor legislation of Ukraine; popularize the labor legislation of Ukraine, its high social standards as a factor in stabilizing the development of labor relations; get acquainted with the practice of application of labor legislation by state enterprises, foundations, organizations and law enforcement agencies
Course content
Forms and methods of teaching this discipline are aimed at the system of knowledge about the peculiarities of legal regulation of legal relations arising in the management of companies, work of managers and working proprietors, in studying the improvement of labor legislation of Ukraine and practical application of labor law by lawyers. The objectives of this discipline are: students are to master the basic concepts of a manager and a working proprietor in labor relations; understanding the essence of legal relations in the system of personnel management regulated by labor law, developing students' ability to work independently with primary sources (regulations, case law) and special legal literature on labor law; gaining skills of comparative legal analysis of regulations, their drafts and labor legislation of foreign countries; raising the level of legal awareness and legal culture of students participating in educational and research programs abroad.

Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum final grade for the discipline can be 100 points. The student can receive a maximum of 60 points in the credit, to which the points obtained by the student during seminars are added. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the credit may not be less than 36 points. If the student scored less than 36 points, the latter are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester), the information in the column “exam scores” is “0” and only the number of points obtained during the semester is transferred to the “final grade” column.
