Learning outcomes
To know the general principles of modern criminal law; basic legal, law enforcement and theoretical guidelines necessary for determining the content of separate components of domestic criminal law, for the implementation and justification of criminal law qualification of generalized and concretized factual situations. Skills: to determine and evaluate the content of individual components of domestic criminal law; to carry out and substantiate the criminal-legal qualification of generalized and concretized factual situations. Communication: to have a good command of criminal law terminology and strong argumentations in disputes.

Course content
The course includes: the general principles of modern criminal law; basic legal, law enforcement and theoretical guidelines necessary for determining the content of individual components of domestic criminal law (regulations, legal structures, institutions, etc.); with general and special rules of implementation and substantiation of criminal-legal qualification of generalized and concretized factual situations (primarily qualification of criminal offenses)

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: a) lectures; b) seminars; c) independent work; d) consultations. Teaching strategies: lecture includes the main issues on certain topics of the course, provided by the thematic plan of the working curriculum (hereinafter PWC); during the seminars - discussion of certain issues of the relevant topic, provided by the thematic plan of the PWC; case solving, assignment solving; testing; performance of written tests; for independent work - formation of specific questions and tasks, evaluation of their implementation; during consultations - interviews with students, answers to questions.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment (maximum of points): 3 semester + 4 semester - 40 (oral answers - 10, activity - 2, testing - 12, written tests - 16); 5th semester - 40 (oral answers - 10, activity - 2, testing - 12, written tests - 16); 6 semester - 40 (oral answers - 10, activity - 2, testing - 12, written tests - 16). Final assessment (maximum number of points): 3rd semester: final semester control - 20; 4th semester - exam: semester assessment - 40 points; exam work - 60 (case solving - 30, case solving - 20, answering questions - 10); 5th semester - credit: semester assessment - 40; test work - 60 (case solving - 35, case solving - 25); 6th semester - exam: semester assessment - 40; exam test - 60 (case solving - 30; assignment solving - 15; answering questions - 5).
