Learning outcomes
Know: basic doctrinal approaches to understanding corporate social responsibility, the concept of corporate social responsibility, the legal mechanism and principles of legal regulation at the international and national levels; analyze labor legislation, legislation in the field of social security and other legislation of Ukraine in the context of its application to corporate social responsibility; identify existing problems in building a corporate social responsibility management system at Ukrainian enterprises and suggest possible solutions; to critically comprehend local normative acts regulating social responsibility at the enterprises of Ukraine through the prism of universal and regional international acts; to draft local and individual acts; substantiate, evaluate, demonstrate the results of the study and participate in discussions of issues related to corporate social responsibility and the feasibility of implementing its management system in a particular enterprise.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the key aspects of the formation and development of legal regulation of economic relations and labor relations, social security relations in Ukraine, features and characteristics of legal relations and social security relations, their legal nature; scientific sources on the issues of legal regulation of these types of relations, acts of legislation governing them. Know the principles of organization and implementation of public policy in various fields. Be able to apply methods, principles and forms of management in practice; assess and determine the role and tasks of legal regulation of labor and social security relations, give their legal characteristics. Possess basic skills in drafting local and individual acts, taking into account the specifics of the practical situation and using legal methods to resolve disputes arising from violations of labor.
Course content
The concept and meaning of corporate social responsibility and social responsibility of a business. Principles and norms of corporate social responsibility. Models of corporate social responsibility in the world and in Ukraine. Corporate social responsibility as a component of social security. Organizational and legal support of corporate social responsibility management at a particular enterprise. The importance of social responsibility for the formation and development of employees. Social responsibility in the field of employment. Labor protection and additional working conditions and social protection as components of corporate social responsibility. Corporate culture of socially responsible enterprise. Ecological aspect of corporate social responsibility. Monitoring of corporate social responsibility. Experience of social responsibility of some world corporations. Development of social responsibility in Ukraine

Assessment methods and criteria
The minimum score to be obtained by a student according to the established forms of evaluation is 24 points. The maximum score that can be obtained by a student per semester is 40 points. The envisaged forms of semester assessment cannot exceed 40 points in total. The maximum final grade for this course is 100 points. A student can receive a maximum of 60 points in the final test (credit), to which the points obtained during seminars are added. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the final test cannot be less than 36 points. If the student scored less than 36 points, the latter are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester), and the information in the “exam scores” column is “0”, respectively, only the number of points obtained during the semester is transferred to the “resulting grade” column.
