Know: the system of international legal social protection, the place and impact of Ukraine's international obligations on the formation of the national system of social protection; Be able to identify and research: issues of international legal social protection and certain types of international social standards; Evaluate, draw up and express their own conclusions, results; To form legal positions and prepare analytical documents to resolve issues and practical situations in the field of international legal social protection

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the formation stages of Social Protection Law as a branch of law, the basics of legal regulation of organizational and legal forms of social security in Ukraine (compulsory state social insurance; social security from the State budget; non-state social security); features of the social and legal state of vulnerable groups. 2. Be able to navigate the system of sources of international legal regulation of social protection and distinguish between relations governed by social protection law from relations governed by other branches of law. 3. Possess basic skills in the analysis, generalization and application of social security legislation of Ukraine and international legislation in practice.
Course content
Forms and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at forming a system of theoretical skills and abilities to study international legal social protection, namely knowledge of the nature, principles, sources, subjects and protection mechanisms of the right to social protection in relevant social cases to determine opportunities to use them in national legal practice. Within the framework of the discipline, international sources of social protection are studied in order to develop ways to improve social legislation in Ukraine; educational and monographic literature is analyzed, fundamental concepts of academic discipline are mastered, deepening, concretization and systematization of knowledge about the mechanisms of social rights protection.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Verbal: explanations, discussions, lectures, seminars; visual: illustration, demonstration, self-observation; practical: analysis of judicial practice, law-making practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum final grade for this discipline can be 100 points. A student can receive a maximum of 60 points for the credit, to which the points obtained by a student during seminars are added. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the credit test may not be less than 36 points. If a student scored less than 36 points in the exam, the latter are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester), the information in the column "exam scores" is "0" and in the column "final grade" only the number of points obtained during the semester is transferred.
