Learning outcomes
Have general knowledge acquired in the process of studying the concept, subject, methods, systems and sources of IT law. Know the legal properties of information technology, systems, registers and databases, the legal basis for standardization of information objects; general principles of organization and implementation of activities in the fields of e-commerce, IT business, cybersecurity. Analyze the main issues associated with the creation and application of information technology and systems, in particular: distributed registers, technology of "cloud" computing, artificial intelligence. Be able to resolve basic problems and legal issues of regulating IT relations in the field of creation and application of information technology, which requires updating and integrating the knowledge gained in the study of compulsory subjects. Be able to analyze technical tasks for the development and modernization of information objects, provide general recommendations for drafting documents.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline: Know the basic aspects of realization of the human right to information, to non-interference in private and family life, general principles of regulation of legal administrative and civil relations, basic principles of the Internet construction and functioning. Be able to assess, determine the legal significance and objectives of the main institutions of IT Law, provide a general description of certain categories of fundamental information human rights, draw up general requirements for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs as subjects of information activities. Have basic skills in working with information legislation acts of Ukraine, including Council of Europe conventions, other international treaties ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the information sphere, analyze the peculiarities of state regulation of IT relations, be able to work with basic analytical and search systems of legal information.
Course content
Forms and methods of teaching are aimed at conducting legal analysis of the subject, methods, system and sources of IT Law, features of legal regulation of public relations in e-commerce, development and supply of information technology, development of national information infrastructure, processing and protection of personal data, cybersecurity, research of theoretical and applied issues of state and private partnership development in the IT sphere. The course covers the concept, subject, methods of regulation and sources of IT Law, legal aspects of electronic identification and electronic document management, principles of organization and implementation of IT business, legal aspects of cryptocurrency circulation in Ukraine and abroad, etc., the concept, features, types and legal regimes of information, information resources and information and telecommunication systems, identification of legal issues of cybersecurity, protection of the individual’s right to information.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The study of the discipline includes lectures, seminars; polls (express survey)/testing/essay (reference paper) on the proposed topic; module tests; self-study, individual assignments; credit (exam).
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of ongoing performance evaluation can be: solving practical cases, short surveys, reports, preparation of draft individual or legal acts, module tests, intermediate evaluation. With the current type of evaluation during the seminars, the following should be assessed: the level of knowledge demonstrated by a student in their answers, readiness to discuss the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, the results of homework completion. The course takes one semester. 7 days before the beginning of the examination session, the teacher who conducts the seminars stops holding interviews with the students who missed the assignments. For students who did not score a minimum number of points during the semester, a final test is conducted, the maximum score for which may not exceed 24 points.
