Achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as independent study and use of insurance legislation acts and special literature on insurance law; independent identification of the main problems that arise in the process of insurance legislation application and law enforcement; drafting legal documents used by insurers (constitutional and internal documents of insurers, insurance agreements, insurance policies, insurance rules, claims, other local acts, etc.).

Full-time form

Know the provisions of the Economic Code of Ukraine and legislative acts from the course of Economic Law regulating the legal status of business entities of various forms of organization, determine the legal status of their property, the system of bodies resolving economic disputes, the provisions of the Economic Procedural Code Ukraine, the law of Ukraine "On Insurance" and insurance legislation. Be able to consolidate and deepen the knowledge gained during the lectures by means of analysing sources of special literature on relevant topics of the course; apply the knowledge acquired from other disciplines, in particular, civil and economic law; use legal information and analytical resources of the Internet; perform self-study tasks, solve problems.

The course is aimed at mastering the basic principles and provisions of the application of legislation in the field of insurance regulation and the study of the specifics of insurance relationships. Forms and methods of teaching of this discipline are aimed at conducting legal analysis of insurance relations and insurance activities of insurance companies and the study of theoretical and practical issues concerning the functioning of the insurance market of Ukraine; ability to solve complex problems in the field of lawmaking and law enforcement. The discipline deals with general characteristics of subjects; state regulation; property basis of economic activity; insurance agreement; legal principles of reinsurance.
