To formulate own sound judgments based on the analysis of legal issues. Independently identify those circumstances that need assistance in clarifying, and act in accordance with the recommendations. To demonstrate necessary knowledge and understanding of the nature and content of basic legal institutions and norms of fundamental branches of law. Based on the results of the internship, students must know general provisions on the procedure of creation, operation, organizational structure, powers and rules of work, decision-making by executive power and local governments, including citizens’ requests. Students must be familiar with the rules of oral reception of citizens, the difficulties of dealing with citizens 'complaints, citizens' appeals to the executive and local powers at the local level and be able to suggest the ways to solve them, including court proceedings and assist in drafting procedural documents.

Full-time form

Students must be acquainted with the legal framework of local government, executive power which are the bases of practice. To be able to interact with the head of the institution, department, or other unit in which they are distributed in accordance with the decision of the head of practice from the place of practice. Students must be present during the entire period of internship, full-time, conscientiously follow the instructions of the head of the institution and department, to inform about their absence or illness in the prescribed manner of internship heads of the university and practice place. During the internship, students make a report, diary and characteristics which are signed by the head of the internship practice.

The content of the internship by students of the second year of study is associated with clarifying the main tasks, functions, powers of executive bodies and local governments in which the internship takes place, their legal status; as well as the formation of in-depth acquaintance with the structure of bodies, the organization of their activities, as well as the content of the rules they apply; mastering the practice of applying legal norms in practice.

The defense of the internship is carried out by the student independently, explaining the facts, information, content of documents, legal basis for consideration of citizens' appeals by local governments and executive powers on the basis of the internship and presents a properly designed diary, description, report signed by the head of the internship. According to the results of the answer of the university head internship’s question, a score is given on a 100-point scale, taking into account the score of the head of the internship place. It is possible to perform an individual task by a student or a group of students, prepare presentations, tables, diagrams based on the results of generalization of public information on the official websites of executive power and local governments.

Oral answer, questionnaire, description of the practical problem situation in the practice of the executive body, local government, explanation, argumentation of the position of protection of rights, freedoms, legitimate interests of individuals, knowledge of general principles of citizens' appeals under current legislation of Ukraine, organizational structure of local state administrations , the order of decision-making by the head, the main activities of the place of internships, rules of record keeping and decision-making, provision of administrative services. In total, the exam is estimated at 60 points. Clarifying questions can be asked, the proposed individual task, problem, test to determine the level of mastery of practical and theoretical skills at the discretion of practice leaders from the university.
