Learning outcomes
To conduct the collection and integrated analysis of materials from various sources about university studies; to be fluent in state language and foreign language on the main legal issues of university studies; freely using available information technologies and databases in professional activities; being able to work in a group, forming own contribution to the implementation of tasks on practical problems, tasks, solving cases from university studies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Availability of general knowledge about modern Ukrainian higher education, the procedure for enrollment and study at universities in bachelor's programs. Students must be familiar with law, society, government, education, social institutions, culture in Ukraine. Students must be enrolled in the first year in accordance with the Rules of Admission of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Students must have a command of the material of the educational cycle disciplines "Law" of secondary schools.
Course content
Study the historiography of the course, get acquainted with the traditions of university education in Ukraine, study the events and historical dates associated with the founding of St. Vladimir's University in Kiev. Study of the general structure of the educational process, legal status, modernization of the university in the modern period, its institutes and institutions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the credit-module system, the total number of scores is formed by the semester scores received during mastering of educational modules. Independent work, essays, independent tasks, tests are provided. Modern interactive teaching methods with the use of modern information technologies and means of communication, work in groups, solving cases, tests, problems, legal problems of university studies are used.
Assessment methods and criteria
The answers to the questions raised are evaluated, taking into account the depth of the problem, reflecting their own position. The answers should contain a clear vision of current problems of university studies, as well as the conclusions made by the student, possible proposals for the development and improvement of legal regulation in the field of education.
