Prerequisites and co-requisites
To successfully study the course, students must first master the courses "Pedagogy", "Psychology"; to know the theoretical foundations of the structure of the psyche, factors and basic mechanisms of personality formation; to understand the essence of the main regulators of activity and behavior in the group and the possibilities of their use in working with an academic group.
Course content
The goal of the discipline: familiarization of students with the theory and practice of education, education, management in higher education institutions; provision of knowledge, abilities and skills necessary for the implementation of future teaching activities, formation of competences of scientific and pedagogical activity of a modern teacher, pedagogical thinking.Abstract. The course "High School Teaching and Teacher's Pedagogical Skill" presents the features of the educational process in institutions of higher education, which is focused on providing assistance to the individual in mastering knowledge of pedagogy. The formation of pedagogical thinking, Learning to analyze pedagogical reality, conscious mastering of professional and pedagogical abilities and skills takes place. The content is revealed in two modules. In the first - methodology, didactics of the higher school, peculiarities of the organization of educational work in higher education institutions. In the second - theory, methodology, modern technologies of formation of pedagogical mastery of a teacher of secondary education. The discipline ends with an exam.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides for the following forms of organization of study: lectures, seminar classes and unsupervised work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: classwork (oral answers and presentations), creative work and modular control work. A student can score a maximum of 60 points for performing the prescribed types of work. For students who have scored a total of less than the critical-calculated minimum - 20 points, in order to be admitted to the exam, they must complete a creative task of increased complexity, which is estimated at 40 points. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points. In detail, the criteria for evaluating the types of works during the semester are presented in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
Assessment methods and criteria
Student evaluation is carried out during all types of training sessions and based on the results of unsupervised work. During classes, the following are assessed: oral response, presentation, performance of practical tasks, solving pedagogical tasks, active participation in didactic games. Module tests are completed and assessed at the end of the module and include questions from across the course. The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 60. The final score is assigned based on the results of the student's work during the semester and the exam. The evaluation criteria are presented in detail in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
