2 Analyze, comment on, summarize, scientific and analytical texts with cultural content 5 Collect, organize and analyze information about cultural phenomena, events and historical and cultural processe. 6. Identify, verify and summarize information about various contexts of cultural practice, determine the degree of their relevance using relevant sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies 9 Analyze the effectiveness of cultural policies, technologies for the realization of the cultural idea in the context of specific parameters of their implementation 10 Recognize and classify different types of cultural products, determine their qualitative characteristics based on comprehensive analysis 11 Carry out expert assessment of cultural objects according to the set criteria and provide recommendations for their social actualization 13 To present knowledge about culture in accordance with the specialization of representatives of various professional groups and students

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students must know the basic stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; basic modernist theories and methods of their cultural research, in particular the basic stages of development of the history of artistic practices; basic concepts l and terms of cultural research; 2. Students must be able to collect and interpret information on cultural phenomena and phenomena, cultural processes and events; apply the basic terms, categories and classifications of cultural research in the analysis of socio-cultural phenomena and processes; identify current trends in the coexistence of cultures in different contexts; 3. Students must have basic skills in research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of foreign language for professional information sources.
Course content
Part of the course 1. Applied cultural studies. Applied cultural studies as a field of scientific knowledge. Basic mechanisms and technologies of Applied cultural studies in the sphere of preservation and translation of cultural values. Cultural potential of the personality in the context of Applied cultural studies. Current practices of culture creation. Information society and culture. Applied cultural studies as a field of professional activity. Part of Course 2. Visual anthropology. Methodological approaches and the subject field of visual anthropology. Pre-modern Visual Practices: Vision in the Context of Syncretism of Sens and Sensuality. Shamanism as a practice of ecstatic vision. Practices of "domestication of the image". Vision regimes in the Neolithic Period. Visual practices of writing and the specifics of their communication. Spectacle as a basic visual practice of Antiquity. Visual anthropology of online communities.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral presentation, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 40 / 60 points 2. Self-study (preparation № 1): 6/ 10 points 3. Self-study (preparation № 2): 3/ 10 points 4. Test in writing - 10 / 20 points Final assessment in the form of credit: the final number of points in the course (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. Credit is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment activities.
