Learning outcomes
2. To analyze, comment and summarize scientific and analytical texts of culturological format. 5. To collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena, events, historical and cultural processes. 7. To understand the factors of cultural dynamics, the principles of periodization of cultural processes, their specific features and characteristics. 8. To interpret cultural sources (material, printed, visual, artistic) using special literature and certain methods, tо reasonably present conclusions regarding their content. 14. To conduct a public discussion and maintain a dialogue on Ukrainian culture with professionals and non-specialists.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the main stages of development of statehood of Ukraine, the main characteristics of the historical and cultural process in Ukraine, the main achievements of world material and spiritual culture. 2. Be able to collect and interpret information on events, processes, phenomena and phenomena of history and culture at the basic level; apply the basic terms, categories and classifications of culturology in the analysis of historical and cultural phenomena and processes; explain the essence of the phenomenon of culture, determine its role in human life. 3. Have basic skills of critical thinking.
Course content
The discipline "History of Ukrainian Culture and Regional Studies" provides students with mastery of the theoretical and methodological apparatus of regional studies, acquaintance with different approaches to studying the historical and cultural heritage of regions and features of cultural memory of the population. Particular attention is paid to the study of regional features of Ukrainian culture in historical retrospect - highlighting on the basis of certain criteria, some regions that existed in Ukraine from ancient times to the present, analyze cultural phenomena and processes, trace their relationships and influences, influences of neighboring cultures , resulting in the formation of cultural features of a region.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral presentation, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 45/27 points 2. Express control (2 written works): 20 points / 12 points (10/6 points each). 3. Creative work (study of cultural heritage and cultural memory of different regions of Ukraine): 15/9 points 4. Final test (written): 20/12 points Final assessment in the form of credit: the final number of points in the course (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. Credit is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment activities.
