Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the structure and functions of public administration and local self-government, the main institutions of public administration (the state, political parties, public organizations, local self-government bodies, mass media), the laws of functioning of the system as a whole and its institutions. 2. Based on knowledge of public administration, institutions, patterns of its functioning, be able to navigate the administrative and public-political processes, political life of specific countries. 3. Possess basic skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting of political events and phenomena; use of foreign language professional political information sources.
Course content
The essence of public administration and its relationship with public administration and executive power. Administrative law as a regulatory basis of public administration relations. Methods and forms of public administration. Subjects of public administration. The system of local self-government in Public administration in certain spheres of public life in Ukraine. Ensuring the rule of law in public administration. Local self-government in Ukraine: conceptual principles. The system of local self-government in Ukraine. The system of local self-government in Ukraine.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.6), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication - 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.3), which accounts for 60% of the total grade.
