Learning outcomes
1. Understand the subject area, ethical and legal principles of professional activity. 8. Be able to use the basic categorical, conceptual, analytical and research apparatus of modern political science. 11. To apply the tools of normative and empirical political theory, political methodology, comparative and applied political science, international and global studies in professional activities. 14. Apply theories and methods of applied political science, political communications, special political science disciplines in professional activities. Design, develop a program and conduct political science research using modern methods, technologies and tools of political analysis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before taking this course, students should know the main components of modern political systems (political institutions, political processes, political culture), the laws of their functioning and development; basic methods, categories, concepts and concepts used in the study of politics.
Course content
Methodological issues of practical political science. Political symbolism. Political analysis. Political forecasting. Political decision-making. Politics as a practical action. Manipulative nature of politics.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.6), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.4); (communication - 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.3), which accounts for 60% of the total grade.
