Learning outcomes
1. Understand the subject area, ethical and legal principles of professional activity.
8. To be able to use the basic categorical, conceptual and analytical research apparatus of modern political science.
14. Apply theories and methods of applied political science, political communications, special political science disciplines in professional activities.
15. Design, develop a program and conduct political science research using modern methods, technologies and tools of political analysis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basic concepts of political science and the main events of political life in Ukraine and in the world.
2.Be able to collect and process information on theoretical and practical issues, work with scientific and journalistic material, namely compare and analyze it.
3.Possess basic skills of scientific research, information gathering, and use of scientific sources.
Course content
1. Political forecasting as a science and an academic discipline.
2. Political analysis as a prerequisite for developing a political forecast.
3. The concept, specificity and types of political forecasting.
4. Methods and principles of political forecasting.
5. Features of the methodology of strategy and planning of political science research.
6. Technology of political risk forecasting.
7. Features of military-political forecasting.
8. Global forecasting of trends in world political development.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.5), which is 40% of the total grade and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Oral report, supplement and participation in seminar discussions - 12-22 points;
2) Independent work (essay) - 6-8 points.
3.Independent work (project presentation) - 12-20 points.
4.Control work.
