Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes Know: the subject, methods, theoretical foundations of geopolitics; the main issues of geopolitics and to think critically about these issues; principles of geopolitics Be able to: demonstrate knowledge of specialized literature on geopolitics; to explain the variability of modern concepts of geopolitics; to carry out a study of value-worldview priorities of geopolitics, avoiding ideological involvement; communication: use knowledge of foreign languages to analyze informational Internet resources, read the latest literature in preparation for seminar classes and write independent works; to present the results of conducted research and independent work in the form of reports, messages, essays, presentations, abstracts; conduct polemics on issues of geopolitics.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements 1. Before starting the course, students should know the general nature and the importance of politics as a specific type of management activity, as well as the basic categorical and conceptual apparatus of the science of public administration. 2.To be able to apply key public management concepts, theories and methods to the analysis of public management processes in society in view of the foreign policy context. 3. Possess the skills of using information and communication technologies and solving specialized tasks in the subject area of public administration science with a view to the geopolitical context.

Topic 5. Geopolitical priorities of Atlanticism. Topic 6. European geopolitical thought: main ideas and representatives. Topic 7. Historical retrospective of Ukrainian geopolitics: main ideas and representatives. Independent study on the topic "Greater Europe: in the past or in the future?"

Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.3), which is 20% of the total assessment and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.5); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.3), which is 60% of the total grade.
