            Successful completion of the courses "Vietnamese for Specific Purposes" and "Translation Theory and Methodology".
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general linguistics.
Knowledge of linguistic analysis techniques.
Ability to formulate and express thoughts in Vietnamese and Ukrainian in accordance with the communicative intention.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            An in-depth understanding of the lexical, grammatical, and stylistic characteristics of Vietnamese political discourse, as well as its communicative intentions and means of expression, will be a primary focus of this course. Additionally, students will explore the specific challenges involved in translating Vietnamese political discourse.

            Planned learning activities and teaching methods
        
        
            The course provides for the following forms of learning organization: practical classes conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: classroom work, answers in practical classes, presentations, and module tests with open answers. The detailed planned educational activities and teaching methods are presented in the discipline's work program, published on the official website of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology.
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test work. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester in lectures and seminars and does not include additional evaluation measures. For students who scored a total of fewer points than the critical minimum of 60 points, in order to receive credit, it is necessary to compose material on the topics for which the debt arose. The evaluation criteria are presented in detail in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
